David Carbonara: Film Music

David Carbonara is an accomplished TV and film composer who is like a musical short story writer. A trombonist who grew up in the 1960s, he writes with a subtlety and flare for creating moods and enlarging characters that often feature interplay between strings, woodwinds and horns. Most recently, he has written the score for the TV hit "Madmen" and the documentary film, "Marty Glickman." He is a master at capturing the tensions in his subject’s lives.
