Eric Lewis: Hopscotch

Eric Lewis is a pianist-composer who has already made a name for himself playing with some of the biggest names in jazz: Cassandra Wilson; Wynton Marsalis; Elvin Jones and Roy Hargorve. On his first solo release, "Hopscotch," he revives the ‘cool’ sensibility of players who don’t overwhelm the ears while giving listeners plenty of rich melodies and inviting pieces to hear and embrace.
