Guitarist/composer Bill Banfield has written for orchestras and big bands for years. This project finds Banfield exploring radio-friendly contemporary jazz and urban idioms. Banfield is joined on the recording by some of his well-known musical friends, including Patrice Rushen, Billy Childs, Don Byron, Nelson Rangell, Mark Ledford and the Sounds of Blackness.
